Application and Enrollment
Spring 2024 semester applications are now being accepted. To be eligible:
- You must be admitted to Northwestern Michigan College.
- You must return a completed NSC application and Parent/Support System Questionnaire to the NSC.
Following submission of these items, schedule and complete an interview with the NSC coordinator.
What to expect from the interview
Each student's strengths and needs will be the focus of the meeting. It is also a chance for the NSC coordinator to learn about your goals, interests, and comfort with transitioning to NMC, and for you to learn more about available services.
Acceptance
Students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the date of complete application submission until capacity is reached. In most cases, students will have a decision the day of their interview. A decision will take one week at most.
Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS)
To help offset the cost of participating in the Neurodiversity Support Center programming, NMC is partnering with MRS. If you already have a case open with MRS, or are interested in opening a case with MRS, please contact Nancy Gray at ngray@nmc.edu or (231) 995-2091.
