American Council on Education

Credit granted for military education is based upon the recommendation of the Commission of Accreditation of Service Experience, which was appointed by the American Council on Education. To be eligible, a student must have had a minimum of one year continuous active duty.

No more than 12 semester hours of credit may be granted in any one discipline.

Application Procedure: Students currently enrolled may apply for military service credit by presenting a copy of Form DD 214 for discharged personnel or Form DD 295 for active service to the Records and Registration office. Two semester hours of physical education credit are granted to any qualified veteran who applies.
