NMC's 2025 Commencement ceremonies will be held Saturday, May 3.
All Fall 2024, Spring 2025, and Summer 2025 graduates are eligible to participate. You will receive an RSVP link to your NMC email address.
Applying for a Degree or Certificate : Diplomas and certificates are not handed out on Commencement day. Once all degree or certificate requirements have been fulfilled, the degree or certificate will be mailed to the address on your graduation application approximately 6–8 weeks after final grades have been processed for the semester of graduation.
Livestream: For those not able to attend, NMC will offer a livestream of the ceremonies. A link will be available closer to commencement.
Professional Photography: A photographer was available for portraits of graduates, and professional prints can be purchased through the photographer. More information will be provided closer to commencement.
Guests: At this time, graduates are able to being up to five guests. If Milliken Auditorium reaches capacity, additional seating is available in the Dutmers Theater within the Dennos Museum.
Caps, Gowns, and Tassels: These items are available for purchase at the NMC Bookstore. Graduates are required to wear a cap, gown, and tassel to participate in the commencement ceremony.
