NMC's annual Transfer Fair is primarily for current students who plan to transfer to a four-year school to complete a bachelor’s degree. High School students and community members unable to attend College Night are also invited to attend.

Turn over a new leaf in your education journey! Stop by to get tips on transferring credits, navigating pathways and making a smooth transition to university life. Grab resources, ask questions and start your next chapter with confidence. Plus grab some cider, donuts and fun prizes!
NMC Academic & career advising center hosts "Your next move: how to choose a transfer school"

5:30–6:30 p.m.
So you know you want to transfer and figured out a major, but how do you choose the right school? In this workshop we will explore the decision-making process to define your important factors, resources to find the options meeting those goals and suggested questions to ask reps and help narrow your options. This is a good fit for transfer students planning to go to the upcoming Transfer Fair but wanting to have a game plan in advance!

Admissions reps from NMU & NMC will guide participants through the college application process, focusing on what to expect and time frames to be aware of. This event is applicable for first time college students and transfer students. Leave the event understanding application basics and decisions, transfer agreements, finding scholarships and what to look for in a college. The event will provide food and also include a student panel sharing their experience. Please RSVP if planning to attend at the link above.
