NMC Performance Ensembles

NMC offer several performance opportunities for college students and community members. Community members may click here to register for the ensemble of their choice.

NMC Chamber Singers

A treble (SSAA) choral ensemble with a focus on advanced choral literature. Director - Jeffrey Cobb

NMC Grand Traverse Chorale

A mixed (SATB) choral ensemble with a focus on large works from the choral repertoire. Director - Jeffrey Cobb

NMC Canticum Novum

A small, mixed (SATB) choral ensemble with a focus on challenging and new choral repertoire. Director - Jeffrey Cobb

NMC Concert Band

The band includes college students playing alongside experienced amateur and professional musicians. Director - Pat Brumbaugh

NMC Jazz Bands

Credit and non-credit students may participate in the Jazz Lab Band, and the Jazz Big Band. Director - Josh Wagner

NMC Vocal Jazz Ensemble

Credit and non-credit students may participate in the Vocal Jazz Ensemble.

NMC Children's Choirs

Five choirs are open to students in kindergarten through grade nine: Prelude, Dolce, Bel Canto, Intermezzo, and Cantus. Artistic Director - Jeffrey Cobb

NMC Small Ensembles

Credit and non-credit students may participate in various small ensembles.
