Tyler Smith , BSMT student, returned to NMC to change careers in 2021
“I moved from the west coast to join this one-of-a-kind program not only to get hands-on experience with industry-standard sonar and marine robotics systems, but also to build comprehensive and complementary marine tech skills. I'm only in my second year here, but I've already had two top-flight internships and multiple job offers.”
NOTE: Students enrolled in NMC bachelor degree programs like Marine Technology may be eligible for the Michigan Achievement Scholarship, which offers up to $27,500 over five years (up to $5,500 per year). All students who fill out the FAFSA are automatically considered for the scholarship.
