Inside The Timothy J. Nelson Innovation Center
(open to the public 7 a.m.–10 p.m.)
Completed in Fall 2020, the Timothy J. Nelson Innovation Center is a multi-story building with modern and flexible furniture, classrooms, and study and work spaces available for public use. Other amenities include the NMC Library, Hawk Owl Café, WNMC 90.7FM radio station, NMC's Experiential Learning Institute, Campus Security, Educational Media Technologies, and the Technology Help Desk. Public use of small study rooms, lounges, and open areas do not require reservation.
The building's large learning labs (TJNIC 106/107 and TJNIC 104/106) and medium learning labs (TJNIC 14 and TJNIC 15) may be reserved through Central Scheduling by phone at (231) 995-1113 or email at centralscheduling@nmc.edu.

The Hagerty Center at Northwestern Michigan College
Features: Nestled in our beautiful Great Lakes Campus, the Hagerty Center at Northwestern Michigan College offers extravagant views of West Grand Traverse Bay, including a variety of banquet hall options along with event and catering services. This waterfront venue is ideal for weddings, conferences, seminars, training, retreats, social receptions, and other community events. Ballroom capacities vary depending on setup. The Dennos Museum Center

Features: Offering Milliken Auditorium (seating capacity 367), the Sculpture Court (seating capacity 100), Dutmers Theater for audio/visual presentations (capacity 32), and other options. The Dennos Museum Center does not currently offer spaces for weddings ceremonies or receptions (see Hagerty Center above).

Extended Education can plan, host and facilitate customized training for businesses and organizations. Whether you want to train your team on our campus, at your facility, at another site, or online, Extended Education can help. Facilities Rental Notes
- Rates are subject to change
- 1/2 Day = up to 4 hours
- Full Day = 4.5 to 8 hours
- For meetings or events lasting more than 8 hours, an additional 1/2 day charge will be applied.
- All usage of campus facilities, including outdoors spaces and parking lots must be reserved in advance and is subject to NMC's facilities use policy.
- No internal charges are assessed for usage related to NMC programming, student groups, institutional operations, governance, or other College functions and activities. However, spaces must be reserved in advance with Central Scheduling.
- A 25% cancellation fee will be assessed for cancellations within 24-72 hours of the event.
