COVID-19: Masks required while committee considers changes

Good morning NMC Community,

Fortunately we are starting to see some positive news on the horizon as COVID-19 cases begin to decline and vaccinations increase. We hope this will mean the historic pandemic might be nearing its end in the coming months. As we plan for that future we wanted to share an update on safety requirements on NMC’s campuses.

Masks will continue to be required while the COVID-19 Committee and the Reimagining Learning Committee discuss how to continue to meet our goals of keeping our students and employees safe, while limiting the disruption to learning. There are many factors we consider including local hospital capacity, testing and contact tracing capacity and government health recommendations. We are also focused on a consistent and steady approach.

We will continue to share updates with you on potential changes to our health and safety requirements. We appreciate your continued support. Our college community is safer because of you.
