Student success means that students receive a personalized learning experience that is full and enriching and ultimately leads to a student's achievement of their academic goals. We know that no two students are the same, so we take a human-centric approach to help you meet your goals.

Success Coaching
We are your connection to whatever you need on campus! Success coaches can help students with:
- Technology skills, time management, improving organization, increasing focus in class and other general academic skills.
- Goal Setting
- Referrals and connections to other campus resources
Call (231) 995-2828 or email successcoach@nmc.edu to make an appointment or stop by the Student Success Center in the Osterlin Building. Currents student can make an appointment through My Success.
Student success Testing Center
Our testing center is open! Make an appointment here or call (231) 995-2134.
Take exams for current classes or have exams proctored from other institutions. Placement testing, CLEP testing, DSST and more are offered through the Testing Center.
Aero Park Professional Testing Center
Professional and Workplace Certifications through PSI, Certiport, Prometric and PearsonVue. GED testing also available.
Free College Prep Workshops 
NMC Student Success Center offers Free College Prep Workshops to help students prepare for their college journey. Learn more here.

My Success
NMC Uses My Success to help students connect with faculty and other campus resources. If you are a current student, staff or faculty, you will find information about how and why to access My Success here.
Computer Lab
With over 40 computer stations and free printing, the Student Success Center computer lab can meet all of your technology needs. Specialized software required for business, accounting, nursing and visual communications classes is available. Please review the lab's computer use guidelines here.
Resources for Faculty
The Student Success Center can help your students develop the self-management and study skills that lead to greater success. Workshops can be delivered in the center or in your classroom and can be customized to fit your students' needs. To arrange a tour or workshop for your class, contact the Success Coaches at (231) 995-2828 or successcoach@nmc.edu.
If you would like to refer individual students, please do so through My Success.

Student Success center
The NMC Testing Center is open! Current students can make an appointment through My Success here. If you are unable to schedule online, please call us at (231) 995-2134.
Spring Semester Hours: January 13–May 3
- Sunday: 3–8 p.m.
- Monday and Thursday: 8 a.m.–8 p.m.
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Saturday: Closed
Location
The Student Success Center is located on NMC's 1701 E. Front Street campus in the Osterlin Building (#3 on the Front Street Campus Map). The closest on-campus parking is in the Birch and Cedar lots.
