Construction Technology
Fall 2008

Continuing Education Certificate Programs are available in the following areas—Electrical, Heating-Ventilation-Air Conditioning
Refrigeration (HVACR), Carpentry, and Plumbing. The curriculum is designed by the industry and aligned with national competency standards. Many programs can be combined with an approved apprenticeship sponsored jointly by the U.S. Department of Labor and regional employers to earn a B.A.T. card—the federal certificate issued by the Bureau of Apprenticeship Training. Courses are open to those wishing to enter the industry as well as those already employed in it.
