Adler, (John) Steve (1956-8) — Highland Park, IL
Carole (nee Goldstein) and I have been in the Chicago area for the last 43 years. We still visit TC often staying at my old residence on Washington Street. We have three grown sons, Darin, Mitchell and Scott all living in the SF Bay area and working as Software Engineers.

Batta, Patricia K. (Waldo) (1959-61) — Traverse City, MI

The most memorable event in attending NMC in the Navy Classroom Building was the day an Air Force Fighter crash landed at the south end of the field. The Coast Guard scrambled their fire fighting equipment but no fire. The pilot was ok. By noon the next day the wrecked plane had been loaded on a truck and was gone. No mention of it in the Record Eagle.

Hoppe, Dave (1957-1959) — Gold Canyon, AZ
BSEE Michigan State University (Electrical Engineering), MEE Iowa State University. I managed an engineering department (about 250 engineers) at Motorola (Scottsdale, AZ) until I retired in April of 2001. I greatly enjoyed my time at NMC. In particular, Jim Spencely (calculus) and Al Shumsky (english) were the best teachers I even had bar none. I hold several patents involving high-speed computer circuitry and satellite communication hardware. Currently, I have been teaching mathematics at Mesa Community College (about 3 years). I will never be as good as Jim Spencely, but I try.

Hughes, Paul (1995-7)
Currently Executive Chef with Americrown Service Corporation. Based @ Michigan International Speedway. Responsible for several Nascar racetracks from PA to CA. Corporate catering and hospitality. #1 growing sport in the world!!!
Graduated Culinary Arts.

Ingalls, J.M. (Jay) (1956-58) —Orlando FL
Retired, living in Orlando FL. Worked at MI State Hwy Dept. in Ann Arbor, King-Seeley Thermos Co. in Ann Arbor (Now split into Chrysler and...), Ford in Ypsilanti, Control Data in Bloomington MN, Documation in Palm Bay FL, Harris in Palm Bay FL, and last, Martin Marietta (now Lockheed Martin) in Orlando FL.
Job titles included Chem Lab Engr, Components Engineer, Materials Engr, Processes Engr, Engr Group Leader

Schmidt, Edward A. (1951-53) — Mt Pleasant, MI
I taught for 36 years, the last 30 in Mt Pleasant. I have been retired for 6 years.
