Program Outcomes

The Associate Degree Nursing program at Northwestern Michigan College strives to provide quality educational programs through continuous program assessment. Faculty review all program outcomes on a regular basis and make adjustments as needed. The following student achievement data are used to assess the ADN program outcomes.

NCLEX-RN Pass Rates: The goal of the nursing faculty is to be at or above 80% as reported by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) for all students who take the National Council Licensure Exam-RN (NCLEX) for the first time.

Program Completion Rates
: The goal of the nursing faculty is for at least 70% of the NMC graduates of the ADN program to graduate within 150% of the program length. This equates to 6 semesters once they enter the nursing program.
